The client wanted to change their prefab concrete garage into a living space and has asked many building companies to quote on this job. when they turned up all of the builders recommended pulling down the prefab concrete garage and starting again from scratch. This increased the cost substantially and it was only until PRS Building Solutions arrived to quote that it was found that it was not necessary to pull the structure down.
Starting the job we had to liquid seal the whole structure from the inside and out as well as having to rewire it too. We insulated the structure so it conformed with the current regulations and raised the roof of the structure to give more height.
The next job was to line the structure with sound block and then we completely plastered the inside.
then we worked on the outside of the structure. the job here was to give it a new jacket of storm render to protect it from the weather elements.
To finish the inside so that it could be used as an office and also a music studio we added running water and thermostatic heating to keep the inside warm.
Whilst the inside was looking really good we turned our hand to the outside and dug away the mud to build a retaining wall.
